In individual therapy, the focus is on you and your context. We find and grow your strengths. We notice learned ways of being that are no longer working for you or are causing distress, and we incorporate new ways and knowledge to promote peace within.
In couples therapy, the focus is on your relationship and fostering a deeper connection with your partner that feels safe and secure. Couples therapy promotes the growth of the strengths that exist in any relationship and interrupts patterns that may be harming the security of the relationship.
In family therapy, the dynamics of the family are the focus. We address the individual goals of each family member and create a family goal as a group. We will look at intergenerational strengths, knowledge, stories, and traumas to determine their impact on the family dynamics of today.
